Raha Perfumes is a story of ambition, resilience, and a deep belief in making quality accessible to all. Our journey begins with our founder, Mr. Abdul Salam, who left India at the age of 16 to pursue his dreams in Saudi Arabia. Through hard work and determination, he built a career for himself and later moved to Dubai, where he worked as a manager in a garments retail outlet. But his entrepreneurial spirit was only getting started.
On March 10, 1988, Mr. Abdul Salam took a bold step and acquired his first trade license, launching a business exporting fabrics and garments to Saudi Arabia. Soon after, he expanded into retail, opening a perfumes and watches store in Al Manal Centre—one of the UAE’s oldest and most historic shopping malls. This milestone marked the beginning of a brand built on the belief that quality should be within everyone’s reach, without compromising on value.
From this vision, the Majid Al Arab brand was born—a name that reflects trust, craftsmanship, and accessibility. Built through years of dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products, Majid Al Arab continues to represent the values Mr. Abdul Salam set out to achieve.
Today, Majid Al Arab and our online platform, rahaperfumes.com, carry his legacy forward. Operated by Shinetexco LLC, a family-run business led by Mr. Abdul Salam and his son, Abdulla Abdul Salam, we are proud to bring the elegance and distinct identity of Majid Al Arab to customers around the world. For us, this is more than an online store—it is the realization of a dream to share timeless fragrances and quality craftsmanship with everyone, everywhere.
At Raha Perfumes, our mission remains true to our founder’s vision: offering exceptional products, honest value, and a brand that speaks to the spirit of determination and dreams fulfilled. We thank you for being a part of our journey.
